Huomachong town

Huomachong town is located in the south of Chenxi County, adjacent to Xupu County in the East, zhonghuopu Township in the west, Shibi Township in the north and changtianwan Township in the south. It is known as the "south gate of Chenxi". With a total area of 138.38 square kilometers (2017), the town governs 17 villages and 1 neighborhood committee in Tantou, zhaodingjie, Jiaoxi, Dayushan, Zhongpeng, longlaiping, Wanshou, luojiawan, majiawan, lanjiawan, zhengjiaping, Shadui, Huomachong, Xinglong, Daqiao, liaojiajia and songjiaping. It was incorporated into Siqian Town in 2015 to form a new Huomachong town. The total population is 39511 (in 2017), and the per capita income is more than 1800 yuan.

The Yuanjiang River in the town passes by the north of the town, the Hunan Guizhou double track passes through nine administrative villages in the town from east to south, and the Changhuai and Yanshan highways run through the whole town. Chenxi railway station is located in Wanshou village of the town, which undertakes the passenger and freight transportation of Chenxi, Yuanling, Luxi and other three counties. The water and land transportation is very convenient.

There are 4000 mu of Chenzhou pomelo production base and 15 breeding bases of binary hybrid sows, Chenzhou duck and huangmaowu broiler. Agricultural products are very rich, such as Tianma in zhaodingjie village and citrus in Shadui village, which are well-known both inside and outside the province. In the southeast of the town, there are undulating mountains and beautiful environment. There is Dongfanghong forest farm, covering an area of 8000 mu. The magic Swallow Cave, a provincial tourist area, is among them. It has been developed into an ecological amusement park integrating leisure, tourism and vacation. Huomachong town is an industrial park in Chenxi County. There are more than 420 large and small enterprises in the town, including 23 enterprises above the designated size. For example, Hunan LANBO Chemical Co., Ltd., central China mullite plant, Delin mullite plant, central China No.1 Branch of Dongxing Group Co., Ltd., etc., whose products are exported to Southeast Asia and Europe, create 60 million yuan of tax revenue for the county finance every year, and are one of the main tax sources of Chenxi County. Since 2000, the town government has stepped up investment promotion and actively developed private and private enterprises, with a total of 275 million yuan. with the rapid development of economy, the town government has increased investment in the infrastructure of market towns. The town government decided to reconstruct and expand the original farmers' market by means of investment promotion and development, and various investment promotion work is in progress
