Xinluhe town

Xinluhe town is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Zhongfang County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, China. Xinlu river is located on the Bank of Yuanshui River in the east of Zhongfang County, 52 kilometers away from Zhongfang town. The total area of the township is 107.22 square kilometers (2017).

The whole area is a low mountain area, with yangpo'ao in the West and Bodhisattva boundary in the south. The Yuan river runs through the north and south, passing through 20 kilometers. The rural area is divided into two rectangles, with 9 streams and streams flowing into the Yuan river. The water and land transportation is convenient and unimpeded. S320 provincial road is 7 km long. Natural landscape and cultural relics include Xiangshui cave, zhuzhushuikou mountain scenic forest, xiaoyifang, Shuixing nunnery, Zongyang tree, etc. The territory is rich in mineral resources. There are manganese mines in banliping, Zhuzhu, Xujia and Zixi. The ore belt is 8 km long with a reserve of 600000 tons. The porcelain mud in Zhuzhu, wanxikou and chengdujiang has a reserve of 500000 tons. There are also iron mines in Zhuzhu and luojiapo.

Xinluhe town has jurisdiction over 22 villages including xiaowanping, luojiapo, banliping, Shengzhu, Xujia, Wangxi, chengdujiang, Huangtupo, Aikou, Zixi, yanao, wanxikou and Lili, and one neighborhood committee of xinluhe, with a population of 18621 (2017).

Xinluhe town is adjacent to Tiepo town in the East, Maodu township of Hongjiang City in the south, Yuanjia town in the West and Jielong town in the north. The people's Government of xinluhe town is located in xinluhe village, 45 kilometers away from Huaihua City.

In the Qing Dynasty, xinluhe was a business center with a radius of 100 li. There were two agricultural markets, chengdujiang and Dukou, and more than 230 individual and private businesses. There are 5 primary and secondary schools with 167 teaching staff and 1809 students; 15 medical and health institutions with 29 medical staff and 10 beds.
