History of construction

In January 1936, it was the residence of Shangyi County Office. In 1944, it was the town of Daqinggou in Shangyi County. In December 1946, Daqinggou town was changed into Daqinggou township.

In October 1949, it was set as the Sixth District.

In August 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Daqinggou town.

In August 1958, Daqinggou town was changed into Daqinggou commune.

In May 1984, Daqinggou commune was changed into Daqinggou town.
