Chuanyan Township

Chuanyan Township, subordinate to Dong'an County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, is located in the middle of Dong'an County, with a total area of 100 square kilometers (2017), a population of 17028 (2017), a cultivated area of 1217 Mu and a paddy field area of 9176 mu. The township governs 16 administrative villages and 155 villager groups.

A brief introduction to my hometown

Mountain area is rich in resources. With an area of 55000 mu, Phyllostachys pubescens is one of the bases of Phyllostachys pubescens in Hunan Province, enjoying the reputation of "hometown of Phyllostachys pubescens". The beautiful landscape on both sides of the Songjiang River, the ancient stage of the Ming Dynasty, the karst caves in Kester, the general chess and so on are the virgin land to be developed. The mountain area is also rich in pine, Auricularia auricula, precious Chinese herbal medicine and so on, which is a typical mountain township.

Economic products

1、 In recent years, the township party committee and government, based on their own resource advantages, have vigorously implemented the Nanzhu low-cost reconstruction project, and successively introduced two leading bamboo and wood processing enterprises with a total investment of more than 5 million yuan and an annual output value of nearly 20 million yuan. At present, two Nanzhu processing enterprises have normal production and prosperous business, which has effectively promoted the appreciation of Nanzhu and the direct income increase of forest farmers in mountainous areas. Second, we should make full use of the microclimate and abundant natural aquatic plants in mountainous areas to vigorously develop Dong'an chicken breeding, grass breeding and geese breeding, and open up characteristic villages of edible fungi industry in mountainous areas. We will continue to increase efforts to attract investment and vigorously implement resource investment. There are 3 bamboo products processing enterprises in the township. Third, Xiangshun biological development company was introduced, a mushroom production base with an annual output value of tens of millions of yuan was established, and funds from all parties were introduced. Two small water stations with an installed capacity of 80kW were built.

Chuanyan township has 16 village committees: Wantang, baohuyan, Songjiang, lingzhi, bandian, Heshi, Chuanyan, shuangjingtang, changchong, Liuxing, Jiangtian, gaotingzi, shangjietou, xiajietou, baiyashui and chipiyuan.

New village construction

Chuanyan township is actively carrying out the socialist new rural construction activities with the goal of "production development, affluent life, civilized rural style, clean village appearance and democratic management", focusing on accelerating rural economic development, improving rural living environment and improving farmers' quality of life and their own quality. Three new rural construction sites, lingzhi, shuangjingtang and changchong, have been built and achieved good results. in the new rural construction, transportation, agriculture, forestry, breeding and other aspects of the township are in a good development trend. In 2009, the township sowed 9600 mu of rice, with a total grain output of 13200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 9%; 13 water conservancy projects were constructed and renovated, including one key disease control reservoir; 700 mu of afforestation in autumn and winter was completed, 15000 pigs were developed, 2 million poultry were developed, and 2000 herbivores such as cattle and sheep were developed. Among them, changchong village, one of the new rural construction sites, has completed the construction of supporting facilities in the living area, built the group to household hardening Road, removed all dangerous hollow houses, with 95% tap water entering the household and 80% toilet renovation rate, completed the construction of 58 biogas digesters, and built a new village basketball court, providing the benefits of fitness and health for the people in the village.
