The water resources of exi River, boshui River and qiutang lake are rich, the water quality is fresh, and the ecological conditions are unique. It is suitable for large-scale aquaculture, and can develop a variety of aquatic products such as pearl, commercial crab, green shrimp, soft shelled turtle, etc. Electric power: Xiangshuijian pumped storage power station is located in Xiangshuijian natural village, eqiao town. The project consists of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water conveyance system, underground powerhouse, ground switch station, etc. the installed capacity of the power station is 1000MW, and four reversible Francis units with a single unit capacity of 25km are installed. The annual generating capacity is 176200 kwh. The upper reservoir of Xiangshuijian pumped storage power station is located in the eastern depression of Fushan. The west side of the upper reservoir has a maximum elevation of 230 meters. There is a platform 150 meters away from the upper reservoir. Xiangshuijian gully is used to build the reservoir, with a total capacity of 16.63 million cubic meters. The reservoir is built at the foot of the mountain on the east side of the Fuyang River. It is surrounded by the clear earth circle of the lake. The water can flow into the Zhanghe River through the pokou river. The reservoir is rich in water resources with a total capacity of 19.22 million cubic meters. The whole construction period of the project is five years, with a total investment of more than 4 billion yuan. The development of the power station will alleviate the serious peak shaving contradiction of East China power grid system and provide guarantee for the safe operation of power grid.

Eqiao has superior geographical environment and convenient land and water transportation. The Shanghai copper railway, the expressway along the Yangtze River and the provincial highway huaijiu pass through the territory. The railway is equipped with eqiao station, the expressway along the river is equipped with entrances and exits in eqiao Town, and fanxin, zhong'e and san'e highways crisscross the territory.
