Chengping township is located in the south of Anren County, adjacent to Zhushan Township in the East, Longhai town in the west, Xinzhou Township in the south, Pingbei Township and Anping town in the north. It governs 9 administrative villages and 137 villager groups, with a land area of 35.7 square kilometers (2017) and a cultivated land area of 1053 hectares. The total population was 13610 (2017).
History of construction
Chengping township administrative division in the Qing Dynasty belongs to Pingyi capital. In the Republic of China, it belonged to Lejiang Township first, and then longle township. After the founding of new China, it was divided into seven districts in 1952, Chengping township was established in 1956, and people's commune was established in 1958. In 1964, Zhushan was merged into Chengping and renamed Lejiang people's commune. In 1980, Zhushan was separated again and restored to Chengping people's commune. In April 1984, it was restored to Chengping township.

Transportation
