Wugaishan town

Wugaishan town is located in the southeast of Suxian District, 38 kilometers away from Chenzhou City. It connects Zixing in the East, Yizhang in the south, Liangtian town and dengjiatang Township in the west, and aoshang town and bailutang town in the north. The average altitude is 800 meters, the total land area is 116 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 10116 mu, including 6818 mu of paddy field, which is a typical high and cold mountain township. The town governs 8 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 89 villager groups, with a total population of 8100 (2017).

Town profile

In 2009, the town realized GDP of 336.17 million yuan, private economic output value of 239.77 million yuan, total financial revenue of 4.02 million yuan and average income of farmers of 6148 yuan, an increase of 8.8%, 10.6%, 7.6% and 8.1% respectively over the previous year. 70 million yuan of investment has been attracted. Agriculture continued to implement the strategy of "planting in the South and raising in the north", and increased efforts to promote industrial management. There were 14 breeding bases for more than 100 black goats and 6 continuous planting bases for more than 500 mu. vigorously implement the practical project for the private sector, and complete the reconstruction of the nine-year school in the town. The school covers an area of 33 Mu and has 12 classes, which can accommodate 600 students. Taipingtou village organization activity place was newly built, taipingtou village and limushui village rural power network transformation was implemented, communication optical cable from dakuishang to Xiaoben village was paved, dakuishang telecommunication 189 signal tower was added, and liangshanping village reservoir reinforcement project was started. The work of "three cleanings, six reforms and one modernization" continued. The gate of the town government was newly built, the cement pavement from Dakui shangxuping to the town government was hardened, 12 new houses were built around the government, and more than 20 toilets were changed. The investment environment has been further optimized, and the investment plans of key projects in the area have been successfully completed, including 70 million yuan invested by big Gold Mining Co., Ltd. and 38.6 million yuan invested by Fuxiong company. There are three primary and secondary schools, one health center, two medical service stations, one new rural cooperative medical management station, one labor and social security service station and one cultural station.
