Chenzhou, also known as Fucheng, is named Zengfu because of the sound of "Hu" and "Fu" in zenghu village.

Historical evolution
In April 2012, three villages, Chengqianling, changchong and Tangwei, were designated from the original suburban township, and zenghu village was designated from the original wanhuayan town to form Zengfu street.
Administrative division
On November 26, 2015, the office of Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs issued the reply of Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on Approving the adjustment plan of township zoning in Beihu District of Chenzhou City (xmxf [2015] No. 84), and agreed to cancel shigaitang Town, Baohe town and Zengfu street and establish Zengfu Street. Zengfu Street will be established by merging all the administrative areas of yuanshigaitang town with the jurisdiction of Zengfu street, and nine organic villages in Baohe Town, including Lijiadong, XinTianLing, dashuxia, Tanshan, Xiatang, Anhe, xiafeng, Zhangjiaping and leidaqiao. The adjusted Zengfu street has jurisdiction over five community neighborhood committees, namely industrial park, Jiangkou, Yuexing, Xingcheng and gaoxinyuan; BAISHILING, Xiaoxi, Wuxing, shigaitang, Guangming, Daxi, bantianjiao, wanshouqiao, Aimin new village, Xinwu, Jiangkou, fengmuling, longguangdong, gongdeling, zhujianshui, baijutang, Shanglong, Xialong, Gaotang, Lijiadong, XinTianLing, Dasha, Tanshan and Xiada Tang, Anhe, xiafeng, Zhangjiaping, leidaqiao, Chengqianling, changchong, Tangwei and zenghu are 32 villages with a total area of 170.3 square kilometers and a total population of 163300. The office is located in Xingcheng Road (formerly Zengfu sub district office).

In April 2012, the total population was 13366. There are 2500 floating population. In the total population, there are 6817 males, accounting for 51%; 6549 females, accounting for 49%; 1938 persons under 14 years old, accounting for 14.5%; 9223 persons between 15 and 64 years old, accounting for 69%; 2205 persons over 64 years old, accounting for 16.5%. The birth rate is 6.7 ‰, the death rate is 5.8 ‰, and the natural growth rate is 5.6 ‰. the largest distance from east to west is 7.2km, and the largest distance from north to south is 5.1km, with a total area of 27.95km2, including 26.29km2 of land, accounting for 94.4%; and 1.66km2 of water, accounting for 5.6%. Geomorphology and topography
The terrain in the territory is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. The landform is mainly mountainous, with hills, hills and plains crisscross. The ground elevation is generally 35-55 meters above sea level.
