Sanxianhu town

Sanxianhu Town, belonging to Nan county, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the south of Nan county, with an area of 91.83 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 43439 (2017). The town government is located in Xinmin Street, 24 kilometers away from the county. There is a highway connecting with the Yinan highway, and the Tuojiang River can be navigable in flood season.

On May 26, 2020, sanxianhu town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.

Sanxianhu town is located in the south of Nanxian County, with an area of 91.83 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 43439 (2017). The town government is located in Xinmin Street, 24 kilometers away from the county. There is a highway connecting with the Yinan highway, and the Tuojiang River can be navigable in flood season. Sanxianhu town is under the jurisdiction of Nanxian county. In 1894, the city was established. In 1930, it was named sanxianhu. In 1953, it was promoted to a town under the jurisdiction of the county. In 1970, it was incorporated into sanxianhu commune. In 1975, it was rebuilt. In 1985, it was incorporated into sanxianhu township. Located in the south of the county, it covers an area of 37 square kilometers and has a population of 29000. It has jurisdiction over four neighborhood committees, namely Jianshe street, Xinmin Street, Dadou and Yuen bridge, and 19 village committees, namely, Junfeng, Xiantai, tiaozuhu, Changhong, Shiba, Zhongqi, Xinlian, Guanghui, JUNHE, Shengli, Feiyue, Xiaozhou, Dexing lake, Jiaqing, Xingwang, Taixing, chenzihu, Sanzhou and Liqun. Township enterprises have furniture, leather, building materials and other factories. Rich in rice, fish, Xianglian. on January 15, 2006, after the adjustment of the new township administrative region, Xiachaishi Township and sanxianhu town were merged into an organic system, and a new sanxianhu town and Xiachaishi street were established. The town people's government was stationed in chenzihu (the former resident of sanxianhu Town People's Government).

It has jurisdiction over 36 administrative villages, 3 neighborhood committees, 3 fishing grounds and 1 forest farm, with a total area of 91.83 square kilometers (in 2017), including nearly 70000 mu of cultivated land and a total population of 43439 (in 2017). The territory is densely covered with ditches and lakes, and the aquaculture industry is very developed, mainly producing four major fish, turtles, turtles and other aquatic products. The main enterprises in the town are Xianhu rice industry and Jingyue machinery.

All the funds for the central rural environmental governance project are in place, which provides strong support for the county to further enhance its ecological environment advantages, comprehensively promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and build a national ecological construction demonstration county with high standards. The county has made great efforts to promote the construction of rural ecological demonstration areas. A number of ecological agriculture demonstration households have been established in 84 Villages, including Liqun village of sanxianhu Town, Changxing village and Xingang village of Nanzhou town. 12 new rural demonstration villages such as Dongping village of Huage town were identified, and village governance projects were actively pursued; drinking water standard projects of quangu village of changjiao Town, Huajia Village of Nanzhou Town, Shangzhou village of mahekou town and Tongli village of Maocaojie village were declared to the Ministry of environmental protection; provincial beautiful towns and green schools were actively launched, and Maocaojie town was officially declared as "provincial" in 2009 to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yiyang City Beautiful town. The implementation of these measures will effectively promote the county rural ecological environment protection.
