Huangtudian town

Located 35 kilometers southwest of the District, huangtudian town is located in the center of Cangshan, Qianjiaping, tangjiapu, Caoping, changmaoling, gangerkou, Huayanxi and other towns and farms. It is the material distribution center of Changde, Hanshou, Taojiang, Anhua and Taoyuan counties. It has been called "the thoroughfare of five counties" since ancient times and has been designated as an important border trade town in the south by Changde City. Historical evolution

In 1935, huangtudian belonged to Jinxia township. In 1958, the government and society were united into a people's commune, and huangtudian was a Jinxia people's commune. In March 1961, the whole county was readjusted and huangtudian was the people's commune of huangtudian. In August 1961, the organizational system of the district was restored, and huangtudian was the seat of huangtudian district office. In 1984, the government and society were separated, the township and village system was restored, and the name was changed to huangtudian town. in 2015, according to the township zoning adjustment plan of Dingcheng District, Cangshan and Qianjiaping townships and huangtudian town were incorporated into a system to establish huangtudian town. huangtudian town not only has national highway 207 running through the territory, but also is 24 kilometers away from Changchang expressway, Changzhang Expressway and Changji Expressway in the north, and only 20 kilometers away from Taohuayuan Airport. The Changshao expressway, which is about to start construction, runs through its territory for 10 kilometers. The convenient transportation and the location advantages of five counties become the natural conditions for the development of huangtudian economy. The total area of huangtudian town is 237.27 square kilometers (2017), with a total population of 49800 people (2017). There are 29500 mu of paddy field, 2600 mu of dry land and 39500 mu of mountain forest. It has jurisdiction over five neighborhood committees of Shangjie, Zhongjie, xiajie, Youyi and Jinsha, and 19 villages of xintiangang, qinggangchong, jinchengbao, huilongqiao, chongtianao, zhuxiangkou, qianjinpi, Hudi, Guancang, liujiaochong, qidouqiao, taohuaan, huanghuayan, hongyanzui, shaxiping, zhushugang, baiyanchong, jinxiashan and qinglongjing.
