Jingwei Township
Jingwei township is located in the southeast of Xinning County, bordering Dongan County of Yongzhou City on three sides. Due to the remote and closed, it is called "Tibet" of Xinning. The land area of the township is 63.29 square kilometers (2017), and the population is 6673 (2017).

Jingwei has beautiful scenery and rich tourism resources. It has the famous Xiaoyan Longquan cave, which receives tens of thousands of tourists every year. The territory is rich in rare animal and plant resources, including tiger frog, Torreya grandis, Taxus chinensis, etc.
Development and construction
The construction of transportation and communication has been strengthened. The first phase of Jingwei road sand to oil project has been completed, with a total length of 20.2 km. The cement hardening project will be completed in October 2005. The bamboo products such as chopsticks are exported to Southeast Asian markets such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The total output value of grain in the township reached 4144 tons, and the number of pigs, cattle and sheep was more than 20000. The average income and net income of the people in the township increased by 10% every year.
