Dacanggai Town, belonging to Qiaodong District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Qiaodong District, adjacent to Dongwangshan Township in the East, Qiaodong District in the south, Qiaodong District in the west, Chongli County in the North bounded by the Great Wall, with a total area of 111 square kilometers.
In February 1965, meijiaying commune was set up in dacanggai town; on December 29, 1999, dacanggai township was changed into dacanggai town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Da Cang Gai town was 23329. As of June 2020, dacanggai town has 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in dacanggai village.
In 2018, there were 35 industrial enterprises in dacanggai Town, including one above scale and 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In February 1965, meijiaying commune was established.
In 1984, it was renamed meijiaying township.
In 1996, meijiaying township was merged with Shuangmiao township to set up dacanggai township.
On December 29, 1999, dacanggai township was changed into dacanggai town.
