Yueliangdao Street

Yueliangdao street, belonging to Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, was set up by Xingcheng town at the end of August 2012. It gets its name because of its beautiful scenery.

Yueliangdao street, with an area of 22.77 square kilometers and a population of 30061, governs three villages and five communities (Yinxing village, zhonghualing village, daigongmiao village, Yueliangdao community, huangdugang community, tianetang community, huangshiling community, Sangzi community and Yangfeng community).

Since the establishment of the sub district, all work has been carried out smoothly and orderly, economic and social undertakings have developed rapidly, and the fiscal and tax revenue in 2013 has exceeded 500 million yuan.

Historical evolution

Yueliangdao street is the key place to undertake the West expansion of Changsha City, and the whole area has been included in the waterfront new town development area. In the territory, the ring road, Shichang Railway and Purui Avenue run through the East and West, and Xiaoxiang Avenue, Jinxing Avenue, Yinshan line and Huangjin road connect the north and the south.

The construction of Jiaotong Road, Yueliangdao East Road, Yinshan North Road, etc., which will soon be started, will build a new pattern of transportation network, creating a unique location advantage for the streets to undertake the radiation of the urban area and carry out foreign exchanges.
