Mapoling Street

Mapoling street belongs to Furong district, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is named after the ancestral Tomb of Ma surname buried at the top of the mountain. The street is adjacent to Liuyang River in the west, Longping high tech park in the East, Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the middle and east bus station in the East. It is the east gate of communication and radiation for Changsha, the provincial capital.

Mapoling Street covers an area of 8.45 square kilometers, with a permanent resident population of 31600. It governs three villages and one community of Xilong, Zhanggongling, Xin'an and Jinlin. It has four colleges and universities, including Hunan Judicial Police Vocational College and Hunan labor and personnel school.

Historical evolution

In 2012, Dongan township was abolished and divided into Dongan street, Mapoling street and Donghu street. The newly established Mapoling Street governs one community and three villages, including Jinlin community, Xilong village, Zhanggongling village and Xin'an village.

It is bounded by Liuyang River central line in the west, Kaifu District and Changsha County in the north, dongtundu bridge central line in the South West, east along the southern boundary line of Xilong village and Zhanggongling village, East through the southern boundary line of Jinlin community, East through the northern boundary line of Wanglong village, East through the central line of Yuanda Road, and east to the eastern boundary line of Xin'an village.

Jinlin community

It is located in the east of Mapoling street, Changbai road in the East, Zhanggongling road in the west, Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the west, Renmin Road in the south, zhangchong road in the north and Longping high tech park, with a total area of 1.5 square kilometers and a green area of 38000 square meters, accounting for 80% of the total area of the community. There are Furong district fire brigade, Zhanggongling industrial and commercial office, Zhanggongling campus of Hunan Normal University, Changsha County medicinal materials company, guolinchang community, Dongan Jincheng, Zhanggongling campus of Changsha Vocational School of Finance and economics, Changsha County No.2 machinery factory, Xinyuan community, provincial post and Telecommunications Training Center, Dongan Township Red Cross Hospital, labor and personnel school, Xiangxun company, provincial Laogan Institute, teaching brigade Provincial Construction Company and other 16 units.

Zhanggongling Village

Located in the area under the jurisdiction of Mapoling street, Furong district, it is adjacent to the East auxiliary road of Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the East, Zhanggongling community park in the south, Shuangyang Road in the West and paihongqu in the north. Zhanggongling village has superior geographical location and convenient transportation, covering an area of 0.14 square kilometers, with a total population of 2618 and a floating population of 4183. There are 12 groups with 144 members in the village. There are 8 members in the two committees of the village branch and 12 staff members.

Xilong Village

It is subordinate to Mapoling street in Furong district. It is located in the north of East bus station, adjacent to Zhanggongling village in the East, Yuanda road in the south, Xingsha Economic Development Zone and Kaifu District in the East and northwest. The East extension of Yingpan road runs from east to west, and Shuangyang Road and nongyuan road run from north to south. The traffic is very convenient. With a total land area of 4027 mu, there are 17 villager groups, with a permanent population of 3835 and a floating population of more than 4000. The village Party branch has 10 party groups with 162 party members. The village office covers an area of about 2000 square meters, with administrative hall, Department office, activity room, library, conference room of CUHK, etc. Xilong village has a community preparatory office, 6 Village Branch committees and 13 staff members.

Xin'an Village

Located in the north of Yuanda Second Road, it has an area of more than 2000 mu, with a permanent population of more than 2000 and a floating population of more than 3000. The office space of the village Department covers an area of more than 2000 square meters, with department offices, activity rooms, library rooms, conference rooms, etc. it is located in the resettlement community of Xin'an village, with complete facilities and convenient services.
