Shizifeng Forest Farm

Shizifeng forest farm is located in Macheng City, Hubei Province. It has four villages: aimenguan, Zhangguanghe, shizifeng and Vanilla Garden. The total area of the forest farm is 52000 mu, of which the management area of China's forest farm is 40848 mu. The forest land is 35264 mu, including 19235 mu of woodland and 12000 mu of mixed irrigation woodland, with a forest coverage rate of 70%. The highest altitude of shizifeng forest farm is 1337 meters, which is the highest peak of Macheng City. It is known as the three provinces where chickens crow.

The forest farm is rich in plant resources and mineral resources. The main tree and shrub species are Pinus massoniana, Pinus taiwanensis, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Cryptomeria fortunei, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Ginkgo biloba, Quercus acutissima, Quercus variabilis, Castanea mollissima, Liquidambar formosana, ZAOJIA, Coptis chinensis, tung oil tree, Sapium sebiferum, etc. the mineral resources are mainly iron ore, copper ore, etc.

On May 13, 2010, news came from the forest resources census of shizifeng forest farm, Macheng state-owned. A large area of ancient YINGSHANHONG also grows in this forest farm.

Shizifeng forest farm is located in the hinterland of the middle Dabie Mountains, at the junction of Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces. Around Kangwang village, which is the highest in Macheng, there is a large area of original ecological ancient YINGSHANHONG community in the surrounding mountains of 800-1300 meters above sea level. Some of them grow on steep cliffs, some are hidden in the sun blocking jungle, forming a beautiful landscape. According to the preliminary investigation of the forest farm, there is a core area of more than 5000 mu in the East and west of Kangwang village. They grow luxuriantly and are well preserved, with peculiar tree shape and ancient branches.

There are Kangwang village, Shizitou, Tiantai Mountain, jiaofujian, moshiping and other scenic spots. Among them, Tiantai Mountain and xiongjiaping each cover an area of about 2000 mu. They are rich in vegetation resources, including strange stones, waterfalls, bamboo, streams, flowing springs, and various shapes of Pinus taiwanensis. The annual average temperature is about 16 degrees, and the highest temperature is about 20 degrees in summer. It is an ideal place for leisure and summer.
