Sanhua Town, formerly known as sanhuaying, is subordinate to Xishui County, Hubei Province. It is said that Zhou Yu, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms, broke through Cao Cao in Chibi and returned here to "reward the three armies, toast and scatter flowers". Sanhua town is located on the North Bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is across the river from Huangshi City, an important industrial town. It is connected by a bridge. Xishan highway, Jiangbei highway and huanghuang highway have convenient water and land transportation. Sanhua town governs 44 administrative villages and 381 natural villages. The land area is 135.6 square kilometers, the population is 66500 (in 2017), and the cultivated land is 40152 mu.

Historical evolution

Wanniantai of Fuzhu temple, also known as "wanniantai of maple tree", is located in fuzhumiao village, Sanhua Town, 20 kilometers away from Sanhua town. It is the only ancient stage preserved in Xishui County and was built in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. the stage is composed of three parts: main stage, props room and dressing room, with a construction area of 110 square meters. It has two eaves on the top of the hill and a small green tile on the roof. The front of the platform is supported by two six square stone pillars, one of which has a stone carved dragon and Phoenix on the top. The front and back of the platform are separated by wooden board walls. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the people's Government of Xishui county has allocated funds for maintenance twice, with a protection area of 5000 square meters. In 1988, it was upgraded to a provincial "cultural relic protection unit".

White well

Baishuijing is located in Shiqiao village, Sanhua Town, 15km away from Xishui County, next to Baishuijing toll station on Xihuang highway. There is a green dragon temple in the mountain mouth beside the well, and an ancient camphor tree beside the temple. There is a Shiwei well circle on the ground with a depth of about 5 meters and a diameter of 60 cm. There is a gap on the edge of the well circle, and the well water overflows from the gap all day long. The water quality of the well is glycol. It is not known when it was first built. It was well preserved in the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China. When the Xishan highway was built in 1965, the Qinglong temple and ancient camphor trees were destroyed, and the water wells were seriously silted up, and the water depth was less than 2 meters. Sanhuazhou
