Huangzhou Railway Station Economic Development Zone
Huangzhou Railway Station Economic Development Zone of Huanggang City was founded in September 1994, and was officially established on June 18, 1997 with the approval of the provincial government. In April 2006, the national development and Reform Commission and the provincial government were in the process of cleaning up and rectifying the development zones. With the approval of the provincial government, the national development and Reform Commission announced on the Internet that it was a provincial Development Zone, and the name of the development zone was changed to Hubei Huangzhou Railway Station Economic Development Zone. The Development Zone governs four village (neighborhood) committees, namely, Ditang, shitouao, yangyinling and danjiaqian. There are 30 Village (inhabitant) groups, 1098 households, 4059 permanent residents, 1531 immigrants, and 5589 people in total. The development zone covers an area of 7.2 square kilometers, and the overall planning of the Development Zone in 1995 determines that the long-term controlled development area is 13.5 square kilometers. In 2004, the Provincial Department of land and Resources approved the development area of 4 square kilometers, and 1.77 square kilometers have been developed.

The development zone is based on Huangzhou railway station of Beijing Kowloon Railway. Huangzhou railway station is a quasi secondary station on Beijing Kowloon railway line. It is the only railway station in Hubei Province where Beijing Kowloon Railway is located. It is an important gathering place of people and logistics in Eastern Hubei. Huangzhou Railway Station Economic Development Zone is one of the three major groups of Huangzhou medium-sized city construction in Huanggang City. It is located in the North Bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the south foot of the Dabie Mountains. It is 17 kilometers away from Huangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city. It is close to national highways 106 and 318. The LiuJie line of the provincial highway runs through it. The Beijing Kowloon railway runs through it, and the Daqing Guangzhou north national key expressway runs through it The advantages of transportation location and geographical resources for development.
Infrastructure
Since its establishment, the development zone has invested nearly 100 million yuan to improve its infrastructure. It has built four vertical and four horizontal chessboard roads, including passenger station road, freight station road, Yingbin Road, Zhangyang Road, Jingxie Road 1, Jingxie Road 2, Xiaokang Road 1, Xiaokang Road 2 and Jingjiu Avenue. It has invested 8 million yuan to build a middle school and a central primary school. In the past 10 years, the infrastructure has been gradually improved, water supply, power supply, roads, post, education and hospital facilities are complete, and the requirements of greening, lighting and beautification have been basically realized.
Industry orientation
According to the national development and Reform Commission and the provincial government, in April 2006, Huangzhou Railway Station Economic Development Zone was determined as the provincial Development Zone, and the key development industries of the development zone were determined as smelting and coking, fine chemical industry and textile processing. According to the requirements, the Development Zone focuses on introducing projects that are in line with its own characteristics and national industrial policies in the work of attracting investment. At present, three industrial parks have been set up, including smelting and coking zone, fine chemical industry zone and Odyssey Chemical Industrial Park, covering an area of 2000 mu each. The development zone has established a set of service measures of "attracting investment, pro business, safe business and rich business" to ensure that the investment enterprises can enter the park with low cost, high efficiency and zero obstacles, so as to truly build the development zone into a hot spot for investment and development.
