Diaowo town

Diaowozhen is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhuozhou City, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Diaowozhen is located in the east of Zhuozhou City, 10 kilometers away from the city government. It borders on Gu'an County of Langfang City in the East, douzhuang Township in the south, dock town in the north and Development Zone in the West. Three kilometers away from the entrance of Beijing Shijiazhuang expressway, Zhuolang highway and Jingbai highway run through the whole Township from east to west, north to south, and Zhuozhou station of Beijing Shijiazhuang Passenger high speed railway is in our township. The urban No.1 bus (receiving place) is located in the south of Dongzhang village, north of zhuogu Road, Guangcheng passenger transport compound. East zhuogu road diaowo intersection has the traffic bureau driving school training ground.

The town has 30 administrative villages, with a total area of 66.6 square kilometers, a permanent population of 31013 people (2017), and a cultivated land area of 59610 mu. It is a typical agricultural township. It is gradually forming a characteristic agricultural development pattern dominated by vegetable scallion, flower seedling cultivation and pig, cattle and sheep breeding. In particular, the annual average planting scale of scallion and lettuce is more than 10000 mu, mainly including spring onion and wheat Stubble onion and Yue Dong onion, etc., enjoy the reputation of "hometown of green onion and lettuce".

In July 2016, the people's Government of Hebei Province agreed to abolish diaowo Township and establish diaowo town in Zhuozhou City, Baoding City, Hebei Province.

Historical evolution

Diaowo township was built in 1953. In 1958, it was changed into happy commune. In 1984, diaowo township was changed. in 1996, pangezhuang township was incorporated. In 1997, it covers an area of 69.8 square kilometers and has a population of 31000. It has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages, namely diaoyi, diao'er, diao'san, diao'si, xu'i, Xu'er, xu'san, Dongzhang village, Baita, Dongying, Nanyao, tazhao, Daliu, Xiaoliu, tongcun, BEICI, Dongfeng Village, Xiaoying, wanquanzhuang, pangezhuang, Xiti, Dongxinzhuang, Hexiwu, Beiwu, sipingzhuang, Taipingzhuang, wanghaizhuang, manziying, xiaobaozizhuang, xiaoyihezhuang. In July 2016, the people's Government of Hebei Province agreed to abolish diaowo Township and establish diaowo town in Zhuozhou City.
