Juwan town

Juwan town was built in Shunzhi years of Qing Dynasty, and it is a town under the jurisdiction of Zaoyang City, Hubei Province. Located 22 kilometers southwest of Zaoyang, it was built in the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It used to travel by boat. It is known as "the dissatisfied jujiawan". It is the hometown of martyr Cheng Kesheng, a "revolutionary pioneer and the only son of the people". It is also the birthplace of the first party branch and Party group in Zaoyang county.

It is located in Gucheng village, Juwan Town, about 22 kilometers southwest of Zaoyang City. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province. The site is located on a gentle slope, about 1000 meters long from east to west and 800 meters wide from north to south.

On the western edge of the site, there are still some rammed earth walls, which are about 250 meters long, 16 meters thick and 1-2.5 meters high. The moat outside the city is about 10 meters wide and 1-2 meters deep. There are relics from the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty, most of which are from the Han Dynasty.
