Beiyang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Boye County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is the hometown of Yan Yuan and the birthplace of Yan Li school. It is a typical agricultural town. It is located in the north of the central part of Boye County, 4 kilometers away from the county in the southeast, bordering Dongxu town in the East, Boye town in the south, Chengdong town in the West and Xiaodian town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 5.5 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 4 kilometers, with a total area of 28.13 square kilometers. At the end of 2018, the total household registered residence in North Yang town was 27966.
In 1957, Beiyang village was established. In 1962, it was established as Beiyang village people's commune. In 1984, Beiyang village was restored. In January 2016, Boye County abolished Beiyang village and established Beiyang town. As of June 2020, Beiyang town has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and its people's government is located at No. 3, Jixing street, Beiyang. There are County Road Bo (Ye) Wen (ren), Bo (Ye) Wang (DU) through, every village road. The main cultural relics include Yan Yuan ancestral hall and Bian que tomb.

In 1957, Beiyang village was established.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Anguo county and belongs to Xuguang people's commune.
In 1962, it returned to Boye county and became the people's commune of Beiyang village.
In 1984, Beiyang village was restored.
In January 2016, with the consent of Hebei provincial government and the approval of the Provincial Department of civil affairs, Boye County abolished Beiyang village and established Beiyang Town, taking the former administrative region of Beiyang village and township as the administrative region of Beiyang town.
