Xiaoyuesi Township
Xiaoyuesi township is located 25 kilometers to the east of the north of Shangcai County in Henan Province, with fertile soil and abundant products. It is rich in wheat, corn, soybeans, sesame, sweet potato, peanuts, melons and vegetables, known as Shangcai's "Northern Granary". Luoxiang highway passes through the territory, reaching Shangtong road and national highway 106 in the East, kaigong Avenue and Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the West. Communication equipment is perfect, water conservancy facilities are complete, and villages are connected with electricity, telephone and cable TV.
economic development
The township party committee and government have implemented the development strategy of "scientific planning, reasonable layout, key support, priority development, leading role, expansion and innovation", forming a good pattern of "planting tobacco in the north, planting grain in the south, fragrant forest and fruit in the East and West, chicken and duck in the fence, six livestock flourishing". The township has invested 2.6 million yuan to develop a large agricultural market covering an area of 50 mu, and built a rural asphalt road with a total length of 50 km.

Historical evolution
Xiaoyuesi commune was established in 1976 and the township was changed in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 45 square kilometers and has a population of 35000. It governs 18 administrative villages, including Xiaoyue temple, Dayue temple, Daming, yewang, Shizhuang, xiwuzhang, bianzhang, wangdonghu, Zhangqi, Chenji, Yanglu, Guoqi, powu, Zhuzhai, Zhaoji, Datun, Shuanghe and Caozhai.
