Tangji Township
Tangji township is located in the northwest border of Luyi County, Henan Province, 45 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Taikang in the west, Zhecheng in the north, Xinji Town in the South and Gaoji Township in the East. Zhou (Kou) Shang (Qiu) highway transit. Yongdeng Expressway passes through the territory, and there is an expressway entrance in Tangji township.
Historical evolution
The village was liberated in 1947. It belongs to the Sixth District (Anping District) in 1948 and Xinji district after 1954. In November 1975, the Tangji commune was composed of nine brigades from Xinji commune and three brigades from Gaoji commune. In 1983, the commune was changed to Tangji township.

Tangji township is located in the northwest border of Luyi County, Henan Province, Laozi's hometown, 45 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Taikang in the west, Zhecheng in the north, Xinji Town in the South and Gaoji Township in the East. Zhou (Kou) Shang (Qiu) highway transit. The town is 10 kilometers long from east to west and 7 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 46 square kilometers. Geographical coordinates: 115 east longitude. 03 '- 09', 33 n. 54 '- 57', Tangji was the seat of the township government.
Economics
The land of Tangji township is fertile and most of it is silt. Abundant rainfall in summer, suitable for the growth of various crops. The total cultivated area of the township is 46167 mu, rich in wheat, corn, soybean, sorghum and cotton. Before liberation, it was located in a remote area with backward production. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the high yield ditch was excavated to harness Qingshui River and Jingou river.
