Wulikou Township
Wulikou township is located in the southwest of Taikang, at the junction of Huaiyang, Xihua and Taikang counties. It is adjacent to laozhong town in the East, anling town and Qiliang Township in Huaiyang in the south, Dongxia town in Xihua county in the West and daxuzhai and xumukou in the north. It is known as "jimingwen three counties". The township governs 23 administrative villages, with cultivated land area of 62000 Mu and 37729 people (in 2017). The township government has a non-agricultural population of 4500 There are 250 Hui people, with wide streets, many buildings and different styles. Industrial products market, general merchandise wholesale market, building materials market, agricultural machinery trading market and private economic community are complete.

Wulikou commune was established in 1975 and the township was changed in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 61.8 square kilometers and has a population of 43000. It governs 21 administrative villages, including wulikou East, wulikou West, Guili, shenzhuang, Guolou, Wangzhuang, Baozhuang, gedali, ligongyu, Wuzhuang, Fanlou, maxiaozhuang, Liudian, Yangzhuang, Dunpu, Xinji, shaolou, lidazhuang, wangsi'an, Xuanyao and Liuzhuang.
Name and origin
According to legend, the village is five miles away from Baipo temple in the north. In the Song Dynasty, Yunliang River passed through it and set up a ferry, so it was named. On the other hand, the cottage extends five miles along the East Bank of the river. The junior commune was established in 1955, and the construction brigade in 1958 belonged to laozhong commune. In 1975, wulikou commune was set up from xunmokou commune, daxuzhai commune and laozhong commune. In 1983, it was changed into wulikou township.
Economic characteristics
As one of the villages and towns in the comprehensive agricultural development project area in 2005, 15000 mu of medium and low yield fields have been transformed, forming a pattern of road connection, ditch connection and forest network.
