Piying street is located in the eastern suburb of Xihua county, Zhoukou City. It is 12 kilometers away from the county seat, adjacent to dongwangying Township in the south, Caohe Township in Huaiyang District, Tiankou Township in the north, qingheyi Township in the East and Huatai road street in the West. The total area of the township is 47765 mu, with 34498 mu of arable land.

Evolution of organizational system

Piying township was liberated in 1947 and belonged to dongxiating district. In 1951, it belonged to the eighth district (lifangkou District). Piying Central Township was set up in 1956. Piying people's commune was established in 1958. It was changed into a new district in 1961. It was renamed people's commune in 1965 and has 38 production teams under its jurisdiction. In 1973, Liying, Xuying and Xialu were assigned to Zhoukou City. In 1975, dongwangying and other 17 brigades separated out, and dongwangying people's commune was set up. In 1984, it was renamed Township until the end of February 2017.

On December 23, 2016, with the approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, the administrative divisions of Xihua county were agreed to make the following adjustments: first, the ChangLou village in qingheyi township was put under the jurisdiction of Piying township. 2、 Piying township was abolished and Piying sub district office was established.
