Main responsibilities of the Bureau of Geology and mineral resources 1. Implement the mineral resources law and other laws and regulations, manage and supervise mineral resources according to law. To be responsible for the formulation of plans for the protection and rational utilization of mineral resources, geological exploration, prevention and control of geological disasters and protection of geological relics; to be responsible for the law enforcement and supervision of mineral resources, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of mining right holders in accordance with the law, and to mediate mining right disputes in accordance with the law. 2. Responsible for the management of mining rights; responsible for the reserves management of mineral resources; responsible for the collection management of mineral resources compensation fees; responsible for the supervision and management of mining order and geological exploration. 3. To be responsible for the application, registration and review of mining enterprises and individual mining within the scope authorized by laws and regulations, and issue mining licenses in accordance with relevant regulations. 4. Be responsible for handling the annual inspection and renewal cancellation registration procedures; be responsible for accepting and approving the registration procedures for the transfer of mining rights; be responsible for investigating and dealing with various illegal mining and prospecting cases according to law; be responsible for collecting mineral resources compensation fees, mining right use fees and mining right price according to law; be responsible for the brief survey registration of mineral resources reserves.
