Guozhuang Hui nationality township (commonly known as "Tuanjie") is located in the south of Zhenping county, Henan Province, 20 kilometers away from the county. It was established in 1987 with the approval of the provincial government. It is one of the only two minority nationality townships in Nanyang city. It is adjacent to 207 National Highway in the West and Jiaozhi railway in the south, with convenient transportation. The township covers a total area of 18.4 square kilometers, with 18356 mu of arable land. It governs 9 administrative villages including xiongzhuang village, Guozhuang village, Zhangzhuang village, Xuqiao village, baiyangpa village, Sunlou village, Tuanxi village, tuanzhong village and tuandong village, and 64 villager groups, accounting for nearly half of the total population of the township.

In 2013, after completing all the approval procedures, the construction project of Guozhuang Hui nationality new rural community was launched, which is the only new community in the city based on the overall planning and design of towns and integrated promotion. The community planning covers an area of 1200 mu, integrating 9 administrative villages and 32 natural villages in the township, which can accommodate more than 10000 people. The first phase of the project covers an area of nearly 80 mu and is close to the national square. It is planned to invest 80 million yuan to build 320 sets of housing, complete public facilities such as kindergartens, supermarkets and street gardens, and improve public welfare facilities such as schools, health centers and national square, so as to realize the three links of water, electricity and roads, and achieve the standards of greening, lighting and beautification.
