Paishitou Township

Paishitou township is located in the northeast of Huixian City, Henan Province, 15 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to dongshuanma township of Weihui City and Linqi town of Linzhou City in the north. It covers an area of 130 square kilometers (2017), with 766.4 hectares of arable land.

Introduction to rural areas

Paishitou township of Huixian city is located in Taihang Mountain Area in the north of Huixian City, at the junction of Linzhou City, Weihui City and Huixian city. It is a key Township and old revolutionary base area for poverty alleviation and development. With a total area of 130 square kilometers (2017), the township governs 17 administrative villages, 150 natural villages and 10277 people. The 17 administrative villages are all poor villages at the provincial level, with 3165 poor households and 9156 people in total (2017).

Historical evolution

Zhangfeicheng Central Township was built in 1956, Gaozhuang commune in 1958, Shitou commune in 1969, and township in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 130 square kilometers and has a population of 12000.
