Xianyu town

Xianyu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingxing County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Dingxing County, adjacent to Xiaocun Township and Beihe town in the East, Gucheng town in the south, Zhangjiazhuang Township and Yaocun town in the west, and Gaoli Township in the north. The total area is 67.22 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of the town was 248087.

In January 1953, Jianxian lived in the township. In September 1958, jianxianyu rocket commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Xianyu township. In 1991, Xianyu township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Xianyu town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Caiwang Road, Xianyu village.

In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Xianyu town was 609 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 5100 yuan. The total industrial output value was 750 million yuan, an increase of 8.8% over the previous year. The total revenue was 6.221 million yuan. In 1944, it belonged to four districts of Dingyi Laixian county.

In 1946, it belonged to four districts of Dingxing county (Luxi).
