Fan Xiangzhen

Fanxiang Town, subordinate to Changyuan City, Henan Province, is located in the northwest of Changyuan City, with Huaxian County in the north and Pubei office in the south. Provincial highway 213 runs through the north and south, and Daguang and Jidong expressways meet in the territory. The total area of the town is 55.06 square kilometers, with 50 126 mu of arable land. In 2018, fan Xiang town registered residence with a population of 50152.

After liberation, there were six districts in Changyuan county. In 1958, Fanxiang people's commune was established. In 1983, the commune was changed into a township, and in 1994, the township was removed to build a town. Fanxiang town governs 37 administrative villages.

In 2018, the fiscal revenue of the whole town was 36.2157 million yuan, and the total number of "four top" enterprises entering the warehouse reached 16.

Historical evolution

Fan Xiang town has a long history. After studying the classics, Fan Hong of the later Han Dynasty was a doctor of Guanglu (commonly known as Prime Minister). He was granted the title of Changluo Marquis (Changluo is Changyuan) in the fifth year of Jianwu. Fan Xiang originated from Fan Hong's fiefdom, so he was named fan Xiang.

Fanxiang town started the construction of entrepreneurship Park in the south of Lianpu village on the east side of 213 provincial road, with a planning area of 600 mu.

On the basis of the central commercial street, Fanxiang town's commercial service industry has successively built hongxingyu, Xinsheng street, Huzhuang commercial street, Golden Sun Commercial Street and other commercial streets. It has initially formed a development pattern of five vertical and three horizontal commercial streets, attracting more than 1200 merchants to settle down in Fanxiang and engage in business, with an annual sales of nearly 300 million yuan.
