Yingang Town, subordinate to Fengqiu County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located 30 kilometers to the east of Fengqiu County, bordering Changyuan County in the north, Lizhuang town in the south, Huangling town in the West and Lankao County across the river in the East, with a total area of 61 square kilometers. As of July 2019, Yingang town has a population of 37000.

In 1975, Yingang commune was formed by two communes, Huangling commune and Lizhuang commune. In 1983, it was changed to Yingang township. On September 20, 2015, Yingang township was approved to withdraw the township and build a town. By 2019, Yingang town has 29 administrative villages.

In 2018, the fiscal revenue of Yingang town was 21.653 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth rate of 19.8%; the disposable income of residents was 174.39 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth rate of 12.1%.

Historical evolution

In 1975, Yingang commune was formed by two communes, Huangling commune and Lizhuang commune. It was first built in Yingang village, then moved to the west of Dazhuang village, and retained the name of Yingang commune. The terrain of Yingang town is high in the southeast and low in the northwest. It is an alluvial fan plain formed by the Yellow River burst at Chanfang and Dazhuang in 1933. Guanmengdi divides the town into two parts: Didong and Dixi. The west of the dyke is sandy saline land, and the east of the dyke is silt soil, which belongs to the floodplain of the Yellow River.
