Huang Dezhen
Huangdezhen, subordinate to Fengqiu County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located at the junction of Xinxiang City, Anyang City and Yanjin County, Changyuan County, Fengqiu County and Huaxian county. It is the north gate of Fengqiu County. The town covers an area of 58 square kilometers, with a population of 39000 as of July 2019.
In 1949, it was returned to Fengqiu County. In August of the same year, the three district offices moved from xin'andian to huangdeji. In 1956, the people's Government of huangde township was established. In 1958, it was renamed huangde people's commune. In 1975, when Juxiang commune was established, the southern villages belonged to Juxiang commune. In 1983, it was changed to huangde township. In 1996, the town was built.
In 2018, the GDP of huangdezhen reached 580 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%, and the per capita disposable income of residents was 7500 yuan.
Historical evolution
Huangdeji used to be a large market in the south of Huaxian county. Before liberation, the west of the township belonged to Yanjin County, and the rest of the villages were under the jurisdiction of the five districts of Huaxian county (later under the jurisdiction of the six districts of Weinan county).
In 1949, it was returned to Fengqiu County. In August of the same year, the three district offices moved from xin'andian to huangdeji.

The characteristic breeding industry of huangde town is mainly animal husbandry, with 340000 live pigs sold annually, and the output value of breeding industry exceeded 290 million yuan in 2012.

Transportation
In huangde Town, the new Changbei line (Provincial Road 308) runs from east to west, Fenghuang highway (provincial road 219) connects north to south, Changji expressway entrance in the north, 4 km from Daguang Expressway in the East and 40 km from Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the West. The only railway station in Fengqiu County (Jiangcun station of Xinhe railway) is located in Jiangxi village.
Honorary title
Huangdezhen is a "provincial demonstration town of small town construction". In 2011, it was also rated as "advanced village" by the provincial spiritual civilization construction Steering Committee, as "municipal civilized town" by the municipal Party committee and municipal government, as "advanced village" and "civilized transportation demonstration village" by the municipal civilization office. In May 2018, it was awarded the "advanced unit of poverty alleviation in Xinxiang City" in 2017.
