Lunzhang town

Lunzhang town is located in the northwest of Anyang County, Anyang City, Henan Province, China. It is 30 kilometers away from Anyang, the ancient capital of Henan Province. It looks to Shuiye, a famous steel city in the south, Tongye, an important coal and coke town in the north of Henan Province in the west, and Hebei Province across Zhanghe River in the north. With an area of 73.36 square kilometers, there are kangwangfen site, Xiangshan ancient temple and Tang Dynasty ancient pagoda. Hongling coal mine is within the territory.

Historical evolution

Lunzhang commune was established in 1958 and changed to township in 1984. In 1997, with an area of 70.2 square kilometers and a population of 33000, it has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, namely Xibaijian, dongbaijian, dujiagang, BEIMENG, Nanmeng, lunzhang, Lijia, Nanya, niujiahe, Zhongle, dongshijinggang, Zhonggang, sunjiagang, gutuo, Tianlu, Jiaofen, Lilu, xulu, xihejiafen, lixinzhuang, dawulijian, xiaowulijian and kangwangfen. On the morning of February 10, 2009, the government of lunzhang Township, Anyang County, Henan Province held a grand unveiling ceremony to remove the township and build a town. With the formal approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, the former lunzhang township of Anyang County was abolished and the lunzhang town of Anyang County was established. Lunzhang township is the only Township in Anyang City that has been approved to withdraw Township and build town in recent two years.

Lunzhang township is located in the northwest of Anyang County. In the past, lunzhang township was a famous poor township, facing Hebei Province across the Zhanghe River. The township covers a total area of 73.36 square kilometers, governs 23 administrative villages, and has a total population of 40136 (2017). After Li Yujun became the Secretary of the Party committee of lunzhang Township, he carried out a drastic reform. In just a few years, the appearance of the township has undergone earth shaking changes. The roads of the township have been opened to every village, the quality of farmers has been improved, the appearance of the township government has been changed, and the economy has also developed rapidly. The new socialist countryside shows a brand new scene in the township. In recent years, a group of members of the Party committee of lunzhang Township, based on the reality and focusing on the future, adhere to the scientific outlook on development, actively implement the urbanization strategy, and walk out of a development path of "enriching the people through agriculture, strengthening the town through industry, and prospering the industry through culture". They have promoted the coordinated development of the economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, Party construction and ecological construction of the township, and all aspects of conditions have met the requirements of building the town. After level by level declaration, the provincial government approved to change lunzhang Township into lunzhang town. It will be an important milestone in the development history of lunzhang Township, which will play a positive role in promoting the local economic and social development. In 2009, lunzhang town ranked 65th among the top 100 towns in Henan Province, in 2014, it ranked 46th among the top 100 towns in Henan Province, and in 2015, it ranked 44th among the top 100 towns in Henan Province.
