Xixiping Street

Xixiping street is located in the east gate of Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, with weiweitianmen in the south, Qingqing Lishui in the north, Cili Jinyan in the East, Chongwen and yanghuping in the west, covering an area of 127 square kilometers. Xixiping is the seat of Yongding District Party committee and government, with 1 vocational high school, 2 middle schools, 6 primary schools and 2 hospitals.

The transportation is developed in the territory, with Changzhang expressway entrance in the East, Jiaozhou Liuzhou railway, Yongding Avenue, trade road and Zhangluo highway crossing the whole territory. It is rich in products, including a bowl of water lobster flower tea which won the gold award of Asia Pacific International Expo, chrysanthemum pomelo which is one of the four famous pomelo in China, and rich in mineral resources such as phosphorus, nickel and molybdenum. Rich in water resources, Hongbiyan and tuuxi hydropower stations have been built.

Xixiping office was established in 1984. In 1993, xixiping Township and xixiping administrative group were transferred to xixiping office. In 1995, 11 villages in guanmenyan Township and 3 villages in Tianmenshan Township were merged into xixiping office. The terrain of the office is mainly plain and mountainous.
