Cao Men Street

Caomen street is located in the north east of Kaifeng City, covering an area of 2.5 square kilometers. It is adjacent to the ancient city wall in the East, Jiefang Avenue in the West (1000 meters in length), weizhongqian street in the South and dongpengban street in the North (1500 meters in length).

Caomen street was established in 1953, changed to Hongqi commune in 1959, and resumed in 1961. In 1997, it covers an area of 1.8 square kilometers and has a population of 20000.
