Tianqiao town

Tianqiao Town, belonging to Juye County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the west of Juye County, adjacent to Dayi town in the southeast, dongguantun town in the south, Longgu town in the West and nanzhaolou town in Yuncheng County in the north. The area is 61.52 square kilometers. In 2018, 45261 people registered residence.

In September 1958, Tianqiao commune was established. In December 1983, Tianqiao township was established when the community was withdrawn to build the township. In August 2002, Tianqiao township was abolished and Tianqiao town was established. In June 2020, Tianqiao town governs 27 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 38 industrial enterprises in Tianqiao Town, including 13 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 113 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In the spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the state of Lu. In the Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to Chengshi County, and in the Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Juye County.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to the Sixth District of Juye County.

After 1949, it belongs to the third district of Juye County.

In September 1958, Tianqiao commune was established.

In December 1983, Tianqiao township was established when the community was withdrawn to build the township.

In August 2002, Tianqiao township was abolished and Tianqiao town was established.
