Chunhua Town, belonging to Boxing County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeast of Boxing County, adjacent to Dongying District and Guangrao County of Dongying City in the East, Lvyi town in the south, Chenhu town in the West and Qiaozhuang town in the northwest. The area is 85.08 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 25530 households in the town had registered residence.
In June 1958, it was transferred to Chunhua commune of Guangrao County. In August 1961, it was the purified area of Boxing County. In March 1963, it belongs to Yanfang district. In September 1968, Chunhua commune was established again. In October 1984, it was changed to township. In December 1999, the town of Chunhua was set up in Saxiang. As of June 2020, Chunhua Town has 32 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in Chunhua Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 40 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Sun Zhongxin
Sun Zhongxin (1852-1930), a native of xiwangwen village, Chunhua Township, Boxing County, was the founder of Lu opera. In 1880, sun Zhongxin joined forces with Liu luanfeng, Zhang Guilan and Zhang Baoguang to perform arts. The original form of actors playing musical instruments and singing stories in the third person has been changed into the form of actors playing roles in their clothes and accompaniment retreating to the back stage. Thus formed the rudiment of Lu opera. During his years of opera singing, sun Zhongxin creatively applied the tunes, Qupai, percussion music and performing arts of cuqiang, Bangzi, Beijing Opera and Qinshu to the opera, and adapted such plays as "watching melon garden", "stepmother beating children", "Cui Jinding going to the grave" and "San Xian" (later "little Gu Xian").
Sun Hongquan
Sun Hongquan (1910-1979), an expert in Otolaryngology, was born in xiwangwen village, Chunhua Town, Boxing County. He graduated from the Medical College of Qilu University in 1938 with a bachelor's degree in medicine. Later, he went to Canada for further study and obtained a doctor's degree from the University of Toronto. During the Anti Japanese War, he successively served as a resident of the Department of otolaryngology in the United Hospital of West China University, Qilu University and Central University, and director of the Department of otolaryngology in the Kuomintang Air Force hospital. In 1948, he went to the United States for further study and graduated from the otolaryngology class of Washington University in St. Louis and the endoscopy class of Medical School of chambo University in Philadelphia. After returning to China, he successively served as professor of Qilu University Medical College, Professor of Shandong Medical College, director of Otorhinolaryngology department, director of Otorhinolaryngology Department of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Medical College, director of Otorhinolaryngology society of Chinese Medical Association and director of Shandong Branch of Chinese Medical Association. In the 1950s, he successfully performed neck dissection and radical mastoidectomy. He was the first to remove pituitary tumor, anterior brain hernia and acoustic neuroma through nose, and achieved success. In 1958, a giant meningioma of skull base was successfully removed in Beijing Friendship Hospital. In 1963, the first laryngeal transplantation was successfully performed in China. He is the author of "laryngeal cancer and total laryngectomy", "inner ear fenestration in the treatment of otosclerosis" and other medical works.
