Jiamaying town is located in the west of Wucheng County, adjacent to Guangyun street in the East, old town and lijiahu town in the south, Gucheng County in Hebei Province across the Grand Canal in the west, and Luquantun in the north.

In May 2020, it will be selected into the list of incentive townships (towns, streets) for cultivated land protection in Shandong Province in 2019.
