Tangtou Street

Tangtou street, subordinate to Hedong District of Linyi, Shandong Province, is a central town approved by the provincial government in 2001. It was withdrawn from the town in September 2004 to set up a sub district office. Tangtou street is located in the north of Hedong District, 25 kilometers away from the center of Linyi City, with a total area of 90.6 square kilometers. It governs 57 natural villages with 57046 people (in 2010). Tangtou hot spring is one of the four natural grade a hot springs in China, and it is the only hot spring with drinkable groundwater in China.

In 2005, it was awarded the first prize of the city's private economy Star Township, investment promotion advanced township, family planning quality service Township and small town construction.

Historical evolution

Tangtou hot spring has a history of more than 2100 years. In 86 B.C., a village was built here. Emperor Zhao of the Han Dynasty named Liu Anguo Marquis of Wenshui. It was also named "Tangtou" because it was located at the source of Tangshui. In 2001, the provincial government approved the establishment of a central town, and in May 2004, the town was withdrawn to set up a sub district office.

There are 11 Enterprises above Designated Size, and one enterprise with profits and taxes exceeding 10 million. Huatai Co., Ltd. is the largest battery manufacturer in Jiangbei and the third largest battery manufacturer in China. Its annual sales revenue exceeds 300 million yuan. In 2005, it paid 14 million yuan of taxes, 6 enterprises with profits and taxes exceeding 1 million yuan, and 130 individual businesses 0. History and culture

According to records, during the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, Confucius bathed here, and later generations set up a Confucius Temple and carved a monument to commemorate it. Now there is still a monument named "Confucius bathing place". During the Northern Wei Dynasty, Li Daoyuan, a geographer, once went here to survey, and his annotation to the water classic said that "Tangquan entered Yi"; the poem in Yizhou Fu Zhi praised that "yeguan has spare grassland, but the spring breeze still remains", so it is also known as "yeguan Tangquan" and listed as the first of "Langya eight sceneries". The ancient emperors and scholars visited, bathed and left a lot of ink marks here for many times. Since the 1960s, foreign tourists from Japan and Korea have been constantly coming and going, and the hot spring culture has been constantly enriched and developed.

Tangtou hot spring is one of the rare natural hot springs in China. According to the exploration of geological department, Tangtou hot spring was formed by ancient geology, which is located in the geothermal anomaly area of diyishu Rift Valley in the Shandong section of Lujiang (Hefei) River (Heilongjiang) great fault zone. Under the action of volcanoes in the new period, the atmospheric recharge seepage water dissolved the chemical composition of rocks under the action of underground high temperature and high pressure, and the spring water gushed out of the ground along the rock contact zone to form hot spring. In the early stage of Tangtou hot spring, there were three natural spring outlets, which were distributed in a triangle, alternating 30-50 meters, with a self flow of 50 tons per day and a water temperature of 70 degrees. The spring water is clear, colorless and transparent, without precipitation. In 1964, the spring was named "sodium chloride hot spring containing hydrogen sulfide" and was included in the Concise Encyclopedia of Britain.

Tangtou hot spring has high medical value. For a long time, it has been regarded as "holy water" and "holy soup" by local people. To this day, people in a hundred Li area still have the custom of coming to take a bath in soup during the Qingming Festival. According to the data provided by the Central Research Office of Shandong Medical College, spring water contains 29 kinds of chemical substances and trace elements, such as zinc, sodium, potassium, magnesium and iron. Combined with its warm, pressure, buoyancy and other effects, spring water has good curative effect on human skin, joints, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hypertension, bone hyperplasia and other diseases, especially for skin diseases, arthritis and other diseases, with an effective rate of more than 95%.

In recent years, with the improvement of urban functions, hot spring tourism has begun to start, and shows a strong vitality. Within 2.4 square kilometers of the planning area, more than ten hot spring resorts have been built, including Zhichun Lake International Hot Spring Resort, provincial coal hot spring sanatorium, Yilida hot spring bath center, police officer sanatorium, Haizhiyun bath center, Lido Holiday, Yimeng hot spring villa, etc. Among them, Zhichun Lake Resort, with an investment of 120 million yuan, integrates leisure and vacation, sightseeing and recuperation, and business meetings. It is a national AA level tourist scenic spot, and its hotel reception specifications have four-star standards. Linyi hot spring sanatorium in Shandong Province, covering an area of more than 200 mu, has many functions, such as rehabilitation, health care, academic research, joint education and so on.

On July 29, 2020, it was named as the National Health township (county) of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
