Shuimogou Township

Shuimogou Township, belonging to Fukang City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of the city, adjacent to Sangonghe Kazakh nationality township in the East, Dabancheng District of Urumqi City in the south, Midong District of Urumqi City in the west, and the 22nd regiment of the Sixth Agricultural Division of BINGTUAN in the north. The area is 727.98 square kilometers. In 2018, 4368 people registered residence.

In 1950, JianZheng belonged to four districts. In 1957, it was a public-private joint venture pasture. In 1958, it belonged to Tianfeng commune ranch. In 1964, it was renamed Shuimogou ranch by public-private partnership, and red flag ranch during the cultural revolution. In 1972, it was renamed Shuimogou ranch. In 1978, it was changed into local state-owned Shuimogou ranch. In September 1998, the township was set up. In October 2019, Shuimogou governs one community and three administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 273 industrial enterprises in Shuimogou Township and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
