Yuangezhuang street was established in 2009. Historical evolution

In 1950, it belonged to the Sixth District of Muping. In 1956, it was changed to yuangezhuang township; in 1958, it was changed to commune; in 1984, it was restored to township; in 1992, it was restored to town. In 1997, with an area of 71 square kilometers and a population of 23000, yuangezhuang town is located in the west of Muping District, 30 kilometers away from the center of the city. It has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, including yuangezhuang, bathe, wangguanzhuang, Yaqian, magzhuang, beigezhuang, yujiatang, Jiahe, zhengjiazhuang, Houshan, chujiatang, wushanzhuang, zhougezhuang, zhutangkuang, Yaojie and Lizhuang.
