Xiaoli Street

Xiaoli street, belonging to Changqing District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, has a total area of 124.6 square kilometers, 57 administrative villages and 52000 people. It is located in the center of Jinan, Liaocheng and Tai'an. National Highway 220 and Jinan Heze Expressway run through the north and south, which is the only way from Jinan to the southwest of Shandong Province. Jinan Heze expressway has an entrance and exit in Xiaoli (only 30 minutes' drive away from the central city of Jinan, 20 kilometers away from the central city of Changqing). Yanli floating bridge connects the two sides of the Yellow River, with convenient transportation. The original name of Xiaoli town was shuilipu. In the early Eastern Han Dynasty, it was changed to Xiaoli because of the story of Guo juxiao's mother in the twenty-four years of filial piety. Here, the mountain is named after filial piety, the town is named after filial piety, and the people are named after filial piety.

Evolution of organizational system

Xiaoli street has a long history, rich historical sites, numerous cultural relics and profound cultural heritage. It has been an important economic, cultural, military and transportation town since the Shang and Zhou dynasties. It has two state-level cultural relics protection units, namely, Xiaotang mountain Guo's tombstone temple and Qi Great Wall source site, which are the earliest ground buildings in China. There are Huangya Shanzhai site, which was taught Taigu culture by Zhang Jizhong, a representative of Taigu School in the late Qing Dynasty; Tizi mountain ancient Shanzhai group, which has been preserved for more than 2000 years; Fangyu ancient village in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is the largest and most complete ancient village in the North of the Yangtze River; Dafeng mountain (Qi Great Wall) scenic spot, a AAA Provincial Forest Park, and Fushou garden, a cultural cemetery. Xiaoli is the birthplace of the first county Party committee of Changqing Dynasty, and it is located in the west of Shandong Province The source of the southern Anti Japanese base area is known as "Yan'an of Changqing". The territory has beautiful environment, suitable climate, four distinct seasons and 40% forest coverage. In recent years, combined with historical and cultural resources, taking the story of Guo juxiao's mother and Xiaotang mountain in the traditional 24 stories of filial piety as the core, and taking cixiao culture as the characteristic, the brand of "hometown of Chinese filial piety culture" has been created. The "Xiaotang mountain filial piety culture Tourism Festival of China" has been successfully held for 11 consecutive years, which has enhanced the cultural soft power and expanded the influence of cixiao culture year by year. It has been awarded the honorary titles of "Shandong provincial civilized town", "Shandong characteristic cultural demonstration town", "Shandong Deyao Qilu demonstration base" and so on.

In July 2020, with the approval of the provincial government, Xiaoli town of Changqing District will be abolished, and Xiaoli Street will be set up in its original administrative region, and the sub district office will be stationed in the original Xiaoli town government.
