Big town is a town under the jurisdiction of Gao'an city in Yichun, Jiangxi Province. Located in the east of Gao'an City, it is the western suburb of Nanchang city. It is 21 kilometers away from Gaoan City, 38 kilometers away from Nanchang, the provincial capital, 170 kilometers away from Jiujiang port, and 40 kilometers away from Changbei Airport, covering an area of 138.8 square kilometers. It has a permanent resident population of 29099 people (in 2017). It is commonly spoken in Gan language and belongs to the Jiangyou ethnic group of the Han nationality. It borders Shigang town and Xishan Town, Xinjian County under the jurisdiction of Nanchang City in the East, faces Lanfang town across Jinhe River in the south, connects Xiangfu town in the west, and borders Qiaodong township of Anyi county and Chitian town of Fengxin County in the north. The approach road is about 460 meters long and the subgrade is 0.5 meters wide.
