Shinao town

Shinao town is a town under the jurisdiction of Gao'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the middle of Gao'an City, in the west of the city and in the north of Jinhe River. It is connected with ruiban in the East, junban and Shanghu in the south, Longtan in the West and cunqian, Wuqiao and Wangjia in the north. The town covers an area of 107.93 square kilometers, with 53000 mu of arable land, 45000 mu of mountain forest, 37000 mu of paddy field, 16 village committees and one neighborhood committee under its jurisdiction, and 44428 permanent residents (2017), all of whom are Han nationality and Jiangyou nationality. Shinao is the satellite town of Gao'an city development group and the star town of national highway 320. It has won the comprehensive advanced title of high security city in economic and social development for six consecutive years. In 2012, the town completed 73.85 million yuan of fiscal revenue, exceeding 1.5 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 69.7%.
