Zhendu Township

Zhendu township is a town under the jurisdiction of Shanggao County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the west of Shanggao county. The township government is 45 km away from Shanggao county and 4 km away from 320 national highway. It is adjacent to xujiadu town in the East, Moshan reclamation farm and Tianxin town in the south, Sanxing town and Luocheng town in Wanzai County in the west, and Fangxi town in Yifeng County in the north. The township has a total area of 53.19 square kilometers, including 16400 mu of arable land, 12 administrative villages, 101 villager groups and 9303 permanent residents (2017). It has jurisdiction over 12 village committees in Zhennan, Zhenbei, Jiangdong, shetian, Yangtian, Luoxi, Huangtian, Jingtou, Luojia, Butou, Yuanxin and Longjia, 63 villages, a team directly under the Township Office (including Jinjia house farm and Township Forest Farm). There are zhendu street and Yangtian in Xushi.

The main fish species are grass, carp, silver carp, bighead carp, green carp, crucian carp, catfish, turtle, etc.

In 2013, the GDP of the township was 600 million yuan, an increase of 20% over the previous year; the fiscal revenue was 27 million yuan, an increase of 25% over the previous year; the per capita net income of farmers was 6900 yuan, an increase of 1000 yuan over the previous year.
