On March 28, 2019, with the approval of Jiangxi provincial government, Fengxin Industrial Park was renamed as Jiangxi Fengxin high tech Industrial Park. Jiangxi Fengxin high tech Industrial Park is another new provincial high tech Zone in Yichun City after Fengcheng and Gao'an were approved as provincial high tech zones. So far, there are two provincial high tech parks and one national high tech Zone in Yichun City, ranking the whole province. In 2018, Fengxin Industrial Park achieved main business income of 33.409 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.44%; revenue of 958 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2%; power consumption of 925 million kwh, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%. By the end of 2018, there were 234 enterprises settled in Fengxin Industrial Park, including 137 industrial enterprises put into operation, including 118 Enterprises above the designated size, forming three pillar industries of textile, new energy and new materials, electronic information, and five key industries of bamboo and wood processing, mechanical grinding wheel, biomedicine, food processing, and renewable resources utilization. in may 2020, it ranked 26th in the comprehensive evaluation of Jiangxi Development Zone in 2019.
