Tangcun Township
Tangcun Township, belonging to Anyuan County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is the north gate of Anyuan. It is adjacent to Fucha Township and Pangushan town of Yudu County in the East, Longbu town in the south, Shuangyuan Township and Hanfang township of Ganxian District in the west, and qilushan town of Yudu County in the north. As of May 2019, Tangcun Township covers an area of 150.73 square kilometers and has six administrative villages with a population of 9900.

As of May 2019, Tangcun village governs six administrative villages, including Baitu village, Shanglong village, Tangcun village, Longzhuang village, Huangsha village and Sanlian Village. There is a state-owned Longbu forest farm in the area, and the township government is in Baitu.

Tangcun township is located in the northernmost part of Anyuan County, adjacent to Pangushan town and Fucha town in Duxian County in the East and Southeast, Longbu town in the south, Ganxian county and Shuangyuan town in the West and southwest, qilushan town in Duxian County in the north. Liyuan national defense war preparation highway passes through our Township from east to west.
natural resources
Yindaozi mountain in Tangcun township is the highest peak in Anyuan (1194.4 meters above sea level). The infrastructure in the area is perfect. Liyuan highway connects Anyuan and Yudu, passes through the territory from north to south, and rural and forest roads are unblocked. The township has achieved "three links" (electricity, telephone, mobile, telecom, CCTV). The territory is rich in resources, underground minerals include rare earth, tungsten, coal, etc.; ground resources mainly produce wood (pine, fir, lotus, camphor), bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens, bitter bamboo), known as "Anyuan forestry and Phyllostachys pubescens big township", at the same time has rich bee resources, rich in honey, Camellia oleifera and tung oil. After the reform and opening up, the township party committee and the government based on the local conditions, integrated resources, used the policy to make full use of, and implemented the leap forward development of rural economy and social undertakings. Organization setup
At the end of 2003, the original 10 administrative villages in Tangcun Township were merged into Baitu village, Zhongliu village into Tangcun village, Zhongxin village into Longzhuang village and Yangqiao village into Sanlian Village in order to reduce the number of organizations. Now Tangcun Township governs six administrative villages, namely Baitu village, Tangcun village, Sanlian Village, Shanglong village, Longzhuang village and Huangsha village.
Population situation
By the end of 2006, there were 50 villager groups in Anyuan County with 6346 mu of cultivated land and a large area of forest land. It covers an area of 116.5 square kilometers. The per capita net income of farmers is 1980 yuan and the GDP is 25 million yuan. There are 1600 students and 82 teaching staff. The enrollment rate of school-age children is 98%, and that of primary school to junior high school is 100%.
