Taicheng Township

Taicheng Xiang is located in the south of Hanshan District, Handan city. It covers an area of 30.52 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 28758 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages and the township government is stationed in Taicheng village. Beijing Shenzhen railway, Hanfeng railway, 107 National Road transit. Mangniu river passes through the central part of the country, and there are ancient tombs in the northern and Southern Dynasties. On September 30, 2016, the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Handan city was approved by the State Council, and Taicheng township was under the jurisdiction of Hanshan District of Handan city.

Dongchengji commune was established in 1961, Taicheng commune was changed in 1982, and township was changed in 1984. In 1995, Linfeng township was incorporated. In 1997, it covers an area of 34 square kilometers and has a population of 23000.
