Chongqing historical museum is located on the first floor of Chaotianmen square, covering an area of 3757 square meters. It is a comprehensive art venue displaying Chongqing history and Chongqing historical celebrities. The exhibition hall is composed of "celebrity starry sky", "preface" and five major parts, including the holographic film and television broadcasting Hall of "the battle of fishing city" and the information broadcasting Hall of "memory of the accompanying capital of the Anti Japanese War".

Chongqing historical Hall of fame

Chongqing is a famous cultural and historical city announced by the State Council. The magnificent Bashan Yushui has nurtured numerous outstanding historical celebrities in the history of more than 3000 years. Chongqing Historical Museum and Chongqing culture and art exhibition center are located in the center of Chongqing, covering an area of 3757 square meters. It is a comprehensive art venue displaying Chongqing history and Chongqing historical celebrities. The exhibition hall is composed of "celebrity starry sky", "preface" and five major parts, including the holographic film and television broadcasting Hall of "the battle of fishing city" and the information broadcasting Hall of "memory of the accompanying capital of the Anti Japanese War". There are 200 local and Hakka historical celebrities on display in the museum. Through sculpture, oil painting, print, multi-media film and television and other artistic expression techniques, the museum vividly shows the life stories of celebrities and the events and historical changes of our city in the past 3000 years.

The hall of fame shows a total of 200 Chongqing historical celebrities who have made outstanding contributions to the social development and civilization progress of our city, the whole country and even the whole world from pre Qin to today. In accordance with the five chapters of the book of heroes through the ages, the chronicles of the years, the war of resistance against Japan, the contest of fate, and Chongqing in progress, the museum adopts various artistic expression means, such as sculpture, oil painting, print, multimedia film and television, to vividly show the historical changes of our city in the past 3000 years and the ancient and modern style of Chongqing's outstanding people.

It is understood that the hall of fame is the first in China to use sound, light and electricity, combined with film phantom imaging technology. According to the Municipal Museum of culture and history, a holographic film and television hall is also built in the museum. The screen is 3 meters wide and 1.5 meters high, which can cycle through the historical scenes such as the defeat of Mongo and the fishing city. Through the museum, young people and tourists at home and abroad can learn Chongqing history, Chongqing culture and Chongqing, a famous historical and cultural city, in the fastest, direct and convenient way.
