General situation

In 1950, it belonged to Nanshi District and the first street government. Taibai street was established in 1956. After that, it was merged and separated many times. It was called Shuguang commune, Changjiang commune, Changjiang office and Xinhua South Road office respectively. In 1968, it was called taibaiyuan commune. In 1980, it changed its name. In 1997, it is located in the east of the central part of Changjiang District, with an area of 3 square kilometers and a population of 30000.
