Linfang town is the "hometown of dragon and Wushu" in Liancheng County. The custom of visiting the dragon in Lin's family originated in the early Ming Dynasty. The dragon in Linfang is big and flowery, the dragon head is tall and powerful, and the dragon body is colorful and lifelike. Linfang wushu team and lion team have participated in Longyan City and Liancheng County competitions for many times and won awards.

Linfang Dragon

Linfang dragon is the heritage of Linfang family's traditional cultural and artistic activities, which has a long history of more than 500 years. It is said that manquangong, the sixth ancestor of the Lin family in Linfang, advocated a tour guide to celebrate the Spring Festival. He tied a symbolic dragon with straw and filled it with incense. It was commonly known as "Xianglong" and later called "Zhenglong" of the Lin family in Linfang. From January 13 to the night of the Lantern Festival, under the guidance of gongs, drums and colorful flags, the majestic dragon team accompanies Mazu, Xingci Gongwang and other gods and "ancient events" in the countryside, villages and fields, or walks through the four rooms, streets and alleys. Men and women, old and young, flock together, and the procession is as long as one kilometer. Everywhere they went, every family lit pine fires, set up tribute fruits, candles and firecrackers to welcome the arrival of Dalong and Mazu. After that, Dalong swam back to the "Gongwang Pavilion" to worship the "Xingci Gongwang", and then turned three times around the "Xingci Gongwang" monument on the opposite side of Zhangshan to express his memory and respect for the "Xingci Gongwang" - Lin zhangbo.
